Recommended for Grade 3 In these Hands-On Science and Technology modules students will focus on the study of plants, specifically the characteristics and requirements of plants and their patterns of growth. Students will also conduct a number of hands-on investigations in the environment. Activities will look at different kinds of plants and animals that live in soil; the importance of soil in providing a base for gardens, forests, fields and farms: the components of various soils, and the effects of moving water on soils.
