Extra Loopy introduces letters that combine two looped shapes. Gom reads a letter sent by Bartelby who is flying "in a space-age supersonic aircraft," which is actually a propeller plane. As he starts to fly into a loop, he is reminded of the shape of the featured letters. This program continues with a short version of "Two Feet Flat On the Floor." The writing practice includes: reinforcement for measuring margins and spacing using the index finger, the letter "h," and the letter "k," as well as the capital versions of these two letters. Joining the letter "b" and "f" with letters from previous programs, the words "leek" and "keel" are formed. Additional words may be formed and provided for practice that includes all letters learned so far, such as "heel" and words with the capital letters that were introduced.
