The Minjiang River in Shichuan province is home to one of China's great treasures, Da Fo, the Leshan Buddha. 160 kilometers from Chengdu City, the statue of Maitreya Buddha overlooks the beautiful confluence of the Minjiang, Daduhe, and Qingyi rivers. It is the largest stone carving artwork in the world.
