At the end of this activity, students should be able to prepare a simple classification of species based on their characteristics, understand the reasons for the differences between the various systems of classification of living organisms, explain the cardiac cycle, know the principles of classification of species based on their phenotypical characteristics and the properties of their genome and understand the importance of the degree of kinship and phylogeny in the classification of species.
