Sept 30th has become widely known as National Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada. This day was chosen as the date for National Truth and Reconciliation Day because September is when many Indigenous children were taken from their families and communities and forced to attend residential schools. Join Nuttah and Kitchi as they honour and remember the tens of thousands of residential school survivors and the children who did not survive the residential schools.
