Mahnoor’s life in Houston is disrupted when her grandmother, Dadi, moves in from Pakistan. Amidst juggling her journalism assignment of filming a documentary, she begins conversing with Dadi. They discuss Dadi’s past in India and her forced relocation due to the Partition. As Dadi’s personal story unfolds, it becomes the compelling subject of Mahnoor’s documentary.
