Journalist, Brandy Yanchyk, travels to Chatham, Ontario to interview Mariah Travis, a Volunteer at Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black Mecca Museum. Mariah tells Brandy Yanchyk about how she is helping people find their ancestors by tracking their geneology. Mariah explains how she found out more about her relatives while researching and volunteering at the Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black Mecca Museum. This experience is part of her Seeing Canada season three travel series.  In this episode of season three Brandy Yanchyk travels to Southern Ontario to learn about the Underground Railroad and the history of the Freedom Seekers who came to Canada and helped build a large, vibrant Black community in the country.
