In the forests of southern India, the relentless heat of the summer brings challenges for Asian elephants, who need to drink every day. As the water starts to disappear around her, a wise old matriarch called Anura decides it's time to lead her family on the yearly migration to ensure their survival. Her journey is made all the more important as there's a new addition to the herd -- her 3 month old grandson Navin. This may also be one of her last chances to ensure she passes on all her knowledge, gained over a lifetime, to the younger members of her family.
