The Fourth Industrial Revolution is going to change our lives and build on the technologies that changed the world over the last 200 years. Steam power generated the first industrial revolution; the second harnessed electricity and mass production; the digital revolution began in the 70's;  and now the fourth industrial revolution is driven by new technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, the internet of things, autonomous vehicles, 3-D printing, nanotechnology, biotechnology, materials science, energy storage and  quantum computing.
