A map is like a bird's eye view of a place. We learn about map scale, icons on maps, universal traffic sign shapes, dancers "maps", a globe (spherical map) compared to a flat map of the earth, elevation maps, climate maps, grids on maps and used by marching bands, subway maps, map apps, floor plans, and finding the best route.
