This program explores the major features of earth's amazing biosphere. Students are introduced to the biotic and abiotic components found in an ecosystem. Footage from throughout the world illustrates how ecosystems can change over time. Other terminology includes: wetland, forest, precipitation, temperature, soil type, primary and secondary succession, climax community, biome, forest, taiga, ocean, estuary, freshwater, and rainforest.
