Idil lives in Istanbul and loves to draw. She visits the mosque near her home very often, always to paint it. She wonders what makes the mosque so beautiful. Idil discovers that the beauty of the mosque has everything to do with mathematics. She uses mathematical rules and shapes to make beautiful things herself: a kaleidoscope, symmetrical paper snowflakes and a sidewalk chalk drawing with her own giant spirograph.
