Nicki Lim may have a Chinese-sounding name, but she looks thoroughly European. The Swiss national has embraced all things Chinese...and Singaporean since she moved here two years ago. In this episode, Nicki goes on a gastronomical and cultural adventure with host Melissa Hyak—from tackling the thorny King of Fruits, to taking up the challenge of translating a karaoke classic (and belting it out, no less!), to mastering the art of Chinese finger painting—to show how one can have fun while learning the language outside of the classroom!
