In the heart of Brazil, the largest cat in the Americas, the magnificent jaguar, reigns over a magical land filled with natural beauty and diversity. It's the height of the dry season and the cold-blooded caimans congregate along the shores of a river, ready to snap-up catfish and the occasional unlucky capybara. This apex predator is a solitary creature, eating all sizes of animals and fish, and is most active at dawn and dusk in the Cuiaba River habitat. Cubs learn hunting techniques from their mothers, but soon are on their own. The migration corridor is very important for genetic variance in the species and nature reserves are designed to maintain that route.
