Propaganda is information in many forms - true, partially true, or false - designed to influence people's opinions and actions. Leaders use it to influence political, economic or military conditions. 3000 years ago, the temple of Ramses depicted a fictional glorious battle victory; recently Iran photoshopped a fighter plane into a picture to imply military might. Propaganda can effectively confuse the truth, polarize opinion, and destabilize an enemy.
