Dave Courchene - Nii Gaani Aki Innini (Leading Earth Man) - is a respected elder and knowledge keeper of the Anishinaabe Nation who has devoted his life to environmental stewardship.  David wrote the script for The Seven Sacred Laws and provided guidance on the Wolf Joe series. In this message, David discusses what he believes is the foundation of our identity as the First Peoples of our homeland that we call Turtle Island.
