Migratory locusts have been abhorred by farmers since the dawn of agriculture. They fly in huge swarms of up to hundreds of millions of voracious eaters that gobble up everything on their path. And though they're terrible news for crops, it seems like they would be great news for their predators. It would be like an airborne buffet for birds; but not quite. If caught by a bird, locusts puke a putrid semi-fermented substance. It smells and tastes so bad that if it falls in the bird's mouth, it would most likely drop the locust and would have to think twice about trying to catch a locust ever again.
