Millennial filmmaker/actor Dylan Playfair goes on a journey to find out why his generation isn't turning up at the polls. In the last Canadian federal election, just 36% of young people came out to vote compared to nearly 70% of eligible voters over the age of 30. In the documentary, Playfair visits political hot spots around North America to gain insight about the younger generation's views on voting and quest to understand the multitude of ways that people become politically engaged. This includes visits to Canada's Parliament Hill, where he attempts to get the views of federal party leaders. In Vancouver, the filmmaker asks students why they don't seem to know or care about the imminent provincial election. In Toronto, during the municipal election, he meets inspirational teenager, Morgan Baskin, who enters the mayoral race while still finishing high school.
