The Canadian-Sikh Resource Kit aims to support educators with providing a variety of resources that include, fiction, nonfiction and digital and print media about the contributions of Sikh people in Canada from the early days of pioneer life in Canada to the current contributions through arts, politics, environment and more. The resources can be used in three ways:
1. To utilize the resources in lessons and infuse these resources with the Ontario Curriculum
2. Independently help educators learn more about Canadian-Sikhs
3. Aid students to learn more about Canadian-Sikhs through independent study.

In addition, with the elementary resource kit it includes the Ontario Library Association project on Canadian-Sikhs and 13 detailed lessons that connect to the Ontario Curriculum through Language to Social Studies to Music and Dance. The lessons include links to online resources and/or include the books used with the lesson in this kit.
