On Carti Sugdup, an island in the Guna Yala (San Blas) Islands group, Panama, rising sea levels make them vulnerable to hurricanes and flooding. Indigenous organizer Blas Lopez works with local architects to relocate his island community to higher grounds on the mainland. They plan for the new community to improve the quality of living, including play space for children, but some families are reluctant to move.
