Oklahomans Desiree Mathews, 18, Jeanetta Leach, 22, Kayce O'Field, Emily Christie and Madison Whitekiller, all 23, are about to start the ride of their lives. These young Cherokee women train to retrace the infamous Trail of Tears, following the path of their ancestors' forced removal over 180 years ago. They ready themselves emotionally and physically for a grueling ride that will cover 950 miles and six states.
