Cones are a unique type of 3-dimensional figure that have length, width and two heights: the cone height and the slant height which is always bigger. The volume of a cone is always one third of the volume of a cylinder with the same circumference and height. Try cutting different sectors out of circles to make cones and see how the sector size affect the two heights of the resulting cone.
