Episode 4 of 4. Recreates the final battles of the War of 1812: the British capture and burning of Washington, D.C., the attacks on Baltimore and Fort McHenry, the defeat of Royal Navy ships on Lake Champlain, and the defeat of the British at New Orleans, a battle that took place after the peace treaty had been signed on Christmas Eve, 1814. The treaty returned all sides to the status quo before the war, but one lesson had been learned: they would never fight against wach other again.
