Danger hovers near when cryptozoologist Tork Darwyn and his wife, teacher Tara Darwyn, find themselves in a nest of young thunderbirds with the mother nearing home, but Tork gets into an even more treacherous situation when he tries to solve Tara's problems rather than listen to her feelings.
