This picture book introduces children to the Japanese poem know as haiku. The haiku in this picturebook were written by Japanese masters, including Kobayashi Issa, Yosano Buson, Matsuo Basho, Kaga Chiyojo, Masaoka Shiki, Takahama Kyoshi, Matsumoto Takashi, and Hattori Ransetsu.
