Livingston, a fruit bat, leaves his orchard looking for a way to attract Drina, the bat he has a crush on. In the city, he is attacked by Vlad, a vampire bat who bites Livingston, changing him into a vampire bat. Driven from home again, Livingston meets Wulf, a werewolf spider who teaches him to be the best vampire bat he can be and helps him transform into an avenging bat named Batula.
