To fully comprehend the peaceful Canada of today it is necessary to investigate the government and political struggles of the past. Canada was a vast, untamed land, with few large communities and a divided population. Ruled from afar, the early inhabitants struggled to find their political voice and vision. In Rebellions, we explore the social, economic, cultural and political make-up of the scattered British colonies.
