The musical instrument books... give you... (scales) to practice... like a music teacher would... so if someone was disciplined enough to work independently... these books would be a good... start. The end of these books gives some pieces to try out your new skills and then... brief bios on... well-known musicians for that... instrument... The visuals... are excellent.
