This is a story of a fictional incident in the early life of Laura Secord. Young Laura waited for her cow Old Peg to give birth. One day she could not find her beloved cow and bravely searched in unknown places until she found the old cow who had died while giving birth to her calf. With great strength and determination Laura was able to take the calf home where she raised it.
