In early December, three opposition parties formed a coalition and announced that they were ready to topple the Conservatives and form a new governement in Canada. For many years Canadians have been on a credit binge. Now, as the economic crisis deepens, a lot of them find themselves stuggling with high levels of personal debt. In late November, a group of gunmen launched a terrorist assault on the Indian city of Mumbai. Every year an army of volunteers contribute time, effort, and money to try and make Canada a better place to live in.
