It has taken fifteen-year-old Abdul four months to make the long, lonely and dangerous journey from his war-torn home in Baghdad to The Jungle, the squalid, makeshift migrant community in Calais, France. Now only the English Channel separates him from his final destination--England. But with no papers, his options are limited, and risky. Finally he manages to make it aboard the rickety boat of an unscrupulous smuggler, along with a handful of other illiegal young migrants.
