Ricky shares his house with 29 creatures, including one dog, four cats, six squirrels and an alligator. Unbelievably, Ricky's science teacher, Mr. Johnston, has even more animals in his classroom. When vandals break into the school and destroy many of the animals, Ricky and his best friend, Augie, devise a plan to raise money and replace the boa constrictor.
