In this episode How and Why TV travels back in time to the Middle Ages. The program shows how knights dwelt in their castles and fortresses. Their day-to-day life is explained, and we also learn about the knights' tournaments and about crusades to the Holy Land that they took part in. The central figure of the episode is Knight Konrad. Together with his wife and his henchmen he leads a peaceful life in his castle. Until one day he is summoned by his feudal lord to war...
