Our young hosts come across some interesting artifacts while cleaning out the attic. Their discovery leads them on a journey where they learn about the origin of their community. Using a combination of live-action, historical photo's and paintings, this program will give your students an overview of how Canadian communities began. You'll examine early settlement along waterways such as the St. Lawrence River and the Great Lakes. Brief histories of the development of some of Canada's major cities are given.
