The Fairness Computer that Professor designed noticed when she was being helpful, making a good speech and being athletic. Eventually, the other contestants realized that Maria was the, fair winner. Confidence: "Friends to the Rescue" Friends to the Rescue is the story of how EJ was really suffering because he had lost all his confidence. He couldn't score a goal on a penalty kick. He couldn't do his skateboard trick. He couldn't win at Battleship, or even drive the little RC truck in the garage. EJ was miserable. It took an amazing display of confidence by Johnny to get EJ back on the right track.
