IGNEOUS AND METAMORPHIC ROCKS: describes the characteristics and properties of igneous and metamorphic rocks. Easy to understand demonstrations explain how heat, pressure and chemical reactions may transform one type of rock into another. SEDIMENTARY ROCKS: sedimentary rocks can provide us with clues to the history of the Earth. In this program the classification system of sedimentary rocks is outlined, as well as the features of sedimentary rocks. Investigates the relationship between sedimentary rocks and the formation of fossils.
