When Mayor Crag tries to stop Hudley's efforts to protest the treatment of Spirit and Imm and voice the dragon's general displeasure, Hudley comes up with creative ways to get her message in front of him. Education component: Protest - Public protests are organized meetings or gatherings where people say they don’t like something that a person or group in charge is doing, has done or is planning to do. The goal of a protest is to get the person or group in authority to change their minds. For example, Hudley is planning to protest Mayor Crag’s decision to put Spirit in jail and Imm out of the city. She hopes that by protesting, Mayor Crag will let Spirit and Imm return.
