The Open Questions for the Three-Part Lesson: Number Sense and Numeration books are organized around expectation clusters from the Ontario curriculum and include questions for the different parts of the three-part lesson. These teacher resource books use a highly visual format to present easy-to-use questions and sample responses that cover all the expectations in the Number Sense and Numeration strand of the Ontario curriculum. These resources can be used on their own or to provide more practice questions in MathUP: help teachers cluster Ontario curriculum expectations for each grade level (Book 1: K-3 and Book 2: 4-8) provide open questions for each part of the three-part lesson, helping teachers better understand the role of each part of the three-part lesson add to teachers’ repertoire for alternative tasks for students support teachers with the consolidation of lesson.
