After being shrunk and sent to K'ai, the Hulk falls in love with the empress Jarella, but when she is pulled along with him to the other dimension, the world in which the Hulk is hunted and hated, Jarella is killed during a battle with Crypto-Man, which leaves a grieving Hulk to face humanity.
