One day, Tabitha, the educator, brought in a handful of Scarlet Runner bean seeds from her mother's garden. Her daughter had collected the beans during the summer and the beans had sat on a shelf, forgotten, for the winter. Discovering the beans again she thought the children may be interested in exploring and growing the bean seeds.
