The TDSB developers have worked together with Pearson to create the TDSB Student Success Kit for Literacy. This customized assessment combines Pearson's OCA Student Success Kit and its ten reading passages representing levels of readability with TDSB-created writing tasks linked to each of the reading passages, which will enable teachers to assess students' abilities to write persuasively using the paragraph form. The TDSB Student Success Kit for Literacy is a flexible diagnostic and formative assessment tool that recognizes the range of learner skills and needs that are present in many intermediate classrooms.
