STEM Labs for Middle Grades provides 50 + fun and meaningful integrated labs that cultivate an interest in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students actively engage in solving real-world problems using scientific inquiry, content knowledge, and technological design, he key components of each lab investigation are creativity, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. Investigations cover a wide range of topics in physical science, life science, earth and space science, alternative energy, and environmental science. Each activity requires students to: research; collaborate; design; and reflect.
