The two races in a small Mississippi town rarely mix, or at least, that is what everyone believes until a white hunter shows up at the segragated hospital and dies of his wounds. Suddenly the connections are revealed to be deeper than anyone suspected, which makes the town's struggle with integration that much more complicated.
