A couple, Jean-Marc, 44, and Mathieu, 30, come to spend their summer vacation with the latter's son, Sébastien, 11, in a log cabin in the Laurentians, once a family home. By opening the door, Jean-Marc sets out to discover his roots. He will manage to reconcile the influences left by two generations of his family on his soul with his those of his new family.
