It's spring in Chipping Cheddar, and Angelina and her best friend, Alice, are excited to audition for the Spring Dance Recital at school. Angelina is thrilled to find out she's dancing the lead, until she notices how sad Alice is. That's because Alice didn't get a part in the recital at all--she's an understudy!
