This story comes from the Haudenosaunee of Canada. A rabbit and an owl both ask the Great Spirit to change the way they look. But the owl is rude and impatient. So, the Great Spirit teaches the owl a lesson. The rabbit is scared and runs away, so only his back legs and ears are changed.
