In this retelling of a traditional Tlingit story, Beaver and Porcupine are best friends. They spend a lot of time together and enjoy the same things. When they visit each other’s homes, however, they are forced to re-evaluate their preconceived notions about what makes a home. In their desire not to hurt the other’s feelings, they learn important lessons about friendship, respecting differences, and love.
