Canada & Beyond: Communities in Canada, Past & Present is designed and written for educators to meet the expectations of the revised Ontario social studies curriculum. Students will learn, explore, discover, analyze, and communicate findings for a variety of topics. They will explore the experiences and perspectives of a variety of communities in both historical and present-day Canada. Students will examine Canadian identity and how various groups have contributed to a collective identity. Students will continue to hone their inquiry skills when exploring and conducting their investigations.
