Showcasing the work of thirteen artists who work with various weaving techniques and are from a wide range of indigenous territories, this publication reveals the richness and beauty of both traditional values and new protocols. Essays explore the materiality of the practice (works comprised of wool, bull rush, cedar root, cedar bark, flax), cultural and spiritual uses as well as confluences and contrasts in design concepts.
