When Shu Fa discovers a secret source of water, the Voice of the Mountain makes her promise not to tell anyone. But Shu Fa’s village needs water, so she breaks her promise. The angry spirit orders her to live in the river. Instead, she puts a statue in the water and fools the spirit.
